How AuraLoom reads a chart
Western tropical astrology, calculated on the server. This page is the source of truth for what the preview includes and what it does not promise.
Engine
Birth data is normalized on the server, then sent to the astrology provider. The Worker stores a preview JSON and, for Premium, a full-report snapshot. Guests receive the same calculation without a saved profile.
House system
Default is Placidus. Whole Sign and Equal are available on the birth-chart form. Changing the house system changes house assignments; it does not change planetary signs.
Unknown birth time
If birth time is unknown, we save the profile and skip Rising, houses, and timing-sensitive modules. Sun can still be shown. Moon may be shown with an accuracy warning. Add a time later to unlock those layers.
What we do not guarantee
- No deterministic life outcomes or event dates.
- AI answers cite chart factors; they can still be wrong.
- Provider outages can delay a preview; the profile is kept.
